Here is a twilight photo of the home in Carbondale, CO. This home has a large open area incorporating the family room and study in the rear, and kitchen, entrance, and mudroom, etc in the front. This view is the rear of the house with the master bedroom on the right.
After a great shoot with Blu Homes, I am back with wonderful memories of the Eastern Slopes of Colorado. My job affords me some great opportunities to experience the landscape. The shot above depicts nearby Mt Sopris, taken during a brief time while I was waiting for the correct light at the home I was photographing. This entire area is filled with awe inspiring scenes, and I am told when its Fall, the colors are just fantastic.
My next assignment is this weekend. I have been asked by Blu Homes www.bluhomes.com to photograph one of their prefabricated homes in Carbondale, Colorado. I have been photographing Blu homes since their beginnings and it has always been a fun and fascinating experience. Here is an example of one of their modular units (actually three) with the mandatory twilight shot.
I will be adding more to this story next week after I return. It should be interesting trying to get to Aspen, the closest airport, rent a car, find lodging, etc all during one of the last big ski weekends in this area. Stay tuned!
